Farmers Furniture has always been helpful to me! The employees are always very nice to me, and help me figure out what fits my budget needs as well as getting the furniture I want. Financing there helped build my credit without interest and without breaking the bank! Other furniture stores in the area make you pay more than double what you pay at farmers! If you don't qualify for interest free they also have 3 months same as cash that also will build your credit when you finance. Seriously the best experience ever.
Farmers offered a 12 month same as cash when I initially made my purchases. However, same as cash does not really mean what you would think. I opted to pay my furniture off early and had a pretty good idea of my remaining balance. I was dissatisfied to find that my balance was higher because I had to pay almost $200 for insurance! Really? What a ripoff. Insurance for what? Paying cash and having excellent credit. This is another ridiculous way to take people's hard earned money for nothing. I've shopped various furniture stores, payed cash over a few months and I've never been charged insurance fees. They've lost my business and hopefully I can save a few others from this scandal.
